I rolled out of bed extremely late on Christmas day, and of course, the lot of us Santa babies eventually rolled over to Melyssa's place all the way at Bishan - late.
Lunch at Mel's was fun, just catching up with everyone (minus Wan Ting who was still in China with her new long hair extensions) and bitching about life and stuff. Of course, the best part was when we exchanged presents! Pictures are with Karen, so pardon me for the lack of them. But I received many many presents which I really loved, so thanks a lot Santa babies!
This Christmas day was a rather quiet one. No family gatherings, outings or dinners. Just a simple few hours spent at a friend's place to chill out and enjoy ourselves. This is a sign of us getting old I guess.
On Boxing Day, I met up with Jia Yu and Hidayah for waffles at Gelare Citylink, and we were also catching up on many things. Haven't seen them since I left for Taiwan, so I took the time to meet up with them too. And then after a long time of hanging out at Gelare, we decided to head back.
And I went for my haircut! My hair's waaay shorter now, but neater and looks somewhat different lah. You know, I really admire neat and straight hair. Neat as in the kind which would look just fine even though you just rolled out of bed. Straight as in non-wavy but not rebonded that kind of straight lah.
Oh oh oh, and speaking about rebonded hair right, I really cannot stand guys who rebond their hair. It just irks me so much to see guys go rebond their hair... and then end up looking worse :/

The day after Boxing Day, Meridian Junior College organised this day event for all the first three months (first six weeks, to be exact) people to come down to hear out their subject teachers on the subjects they offer and also to decide which sbjects we wanted to take.
I was so so so so late on that day. The initial agreement was to meet Pei Wen and Karen at the bus stop at 7am but I ended up waking up at 7am instead. But luckily Karen was late later than me, lol. So the three of us headed down together and we got there just in time for the talks.
I already had in mind which subjects to take already, and that I was going to the arts stream no matter what. Luckily my parents were fully supportive and they told me to just choose the subjects which I liked. There were quite a few Dunmanites there, but sadly, all of them were going to the science stream, so I'm basically alone lah.
But it's okay, I guess I just have to make the extra effort to make new friends once the orientation camp begins next Wednesday on the first day of school. To tell the truth, I am extremely lazy to be that sociable Andre you know. I just feel like being the stuck up, quiet, anti-social Andre who is shy and reserved and doesn't make an effort to get to know people.
Hahaha, let's hope I hit it off really well with some really nice people then.
Anyways, the entire day I was cheated thrice. They all revolve around the same things, but I shan't say any here, in case someone accuses me of slander! I was quite disappointed after that entire day lah, but I kept telling myself that there were better things to look forward to...
Like the unexpected bus ride which Karen landed Pei Wen and myself in when we were supposed to head home!
We took 39 and were talking away in the bus, when we suddenly realised that around the bus was a lot of greenery and trees and bushes and not familiar sights. We'd taken the bus in the wrong direction, and ended up at Sembawang heading towards Yishun. We got off at this Khatib Bongsu place, and then went across to the other side to take the correct bus home. Call this having too much time on our hands to waste away!
