Hey people, pardon me for the lack of updates over here. I've been playing too hard and spending too much time not at home. And obviously, the inclination to blog has been slowly fading away. I feel that play is more important than anything else now... And this non-stop enjoyment/celebration has been since Thursday, and today's like already Wednesday. A week has passed, well almost.
So last Thursday was the last O level paper and of course, the lot of us had many many wonderful plans to do this and to do that. But our plans could not materialise because some people had netball training. But nevermind (: We compromised with Step Up the movie at tampines mall instead. And the lot of us went in separate diretions right after the paper. I went to get my haircut and the others also went to run their errands.
And Wan Ting dyed her hair. I guess the rebel within her has finally emerged from the depths of hell. Or something. She's spotting orangy streaks now. They were previously more on the pink side, but hell we don't know why they sorta became more orangy. And nicer, too!
Step Up was terrific. The cast is hot, and their dance routines were even hotter. Go watch it if you love dance, and although the numerous subplots start making the movie seem a tad typical, its entirely forgiveable! Prasanna, Karen, Taariq, Eirene, Melyssa, Wanting (and her marder), Edwin and Ms Yew were there and I'm sure we enjoyed it lah.
After the movie we hung around Macs for awhile, and we realised that we'd missed the last buses out of tampines. It was left with Mel, Taariq and Edwin anyway, and so we decided to make the super-duper long trek to my humble abode at 1:30am in the morning. We reached at like 2:30am lah, when my place is actually only 10 minutes away by bus. Well bus 11's not exactly efficient at that hour anyways.
We played dai di at my place, and we did Happy Family, Old Maid and Donkey. And Taariq got so tickled by the donkey card, it was so hilarious I tell you. We almost died laughing, and we also played Jenga, for a bit. And Boggle too. They eventually went home at 6:30am.. and then I went to bed.
