This is a post about Friday, and not Saturday.

Edwin's Birthday Party was awesome :D I am so glad everyone could make it down in time to be together! Although we didn't spend a lot of time together, every single moment of it was precious and the surprise turned out really well! :)

We broke into his house (with the help of his neighbour) to get our preparations done while Wan Ting asked him out to stall time at tampines mall. We blew balloons and put a Happy Birthday banner across the wall, and we had a huge Subway platter with sandwiches and cookies as the birthday cake. Then Karen went to meet Edwin and Wan Ting, and they were supposed to go over to his place for pizza and wait for the rest of us to appear. We lied to him that we had tuition/school/whatever and ignored his calls, and when he came home he came into the room and found us there!

We sang him the birthday song. And then it wasn't over yet! It was just the first part of our surprise party! We pretended that we forgot to take a group photo with the lit candles on the cake, and so we lit the candles and then took a group photo (the first one below), and right after that, we suddenly broke into the Happy Birthday song again! But this time it was for Mel! We kinda owed her a celebration and so this was it (:

After that was eating time, then we bitched 'bout a few things and a few people, and then Mel brought up the subject of a certain male organ, and then we laughed and cried at the same time, then we gave Edwin and Mel their presents, and finally, we took quite a few snapshots together.

I was just really happy that night. I must really say that I've been extremely happy on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. One of the best few days of the year thus far (: Okay, peektures!
