Young Conservationist.
I just realised that the title of this entry sounds like one of the Young Scientist projects we had to do back in primary school, yknow? We had to fulfill these tasks and assigments to get the signatures of our teacher, so that we can achieve some stars and eventually earn the badge for ourselves. I can still remember I obtained the Young Ornithologist (spell?) and the Young Botanist ones.
Anyways, this entry is as titled because my class went for some zoo conservation talk today in school. It's some cip programme, and it's going to be really fun because we're gonna be volunteering at the Mandai zoo. It's going to take place in the second half of this year, but I am looking forward to it already! The educators from the zoo brought like stuffed dead, but real, specimens of animals to our school. There was the pangolin which was really scaley, and the flying lemur which was so freakish but it's fur was like as soft as velvet! And there was also this tiger's fur coat and head! Really cool.
School today was fine. I fell asleep during chinese lesson and GP was terrible because I felt that we were doing something really redundant, like the transferation of points. And then we moved on to group work and there was ONLY myself and Morena in our group. Pathetic, right?
Okay. Long day tomorrow, 7:30am till 8pm in school. There's PE, and choir. Boo.
