Mr Smiley

Hello yall.

Life couldn't be better at this moment. Well actually, thinking about it, it'd be much better with one more person who's been absent for a while. But life's still good and happy for me no matter what.

Thursday and Friday I was the happiest person in the world. Friday marked the start of our choir camp, and that night we had choir auditions. Mr Kwei made us sing one by one in front of our sections and him, and I almost freaked halfway through the thing. I was holding on to my nerves the entire time and I was aware that I sounded so different to when I sing calmly. The tone of my voice alone was hjxyupickuerb and I wavered because I was scared shitless.

After the auditions we waited outside and sang crappy songs to pass time and forget about our terrible auditions. And then we were called in and the Syf team was announced. I got in but I didn't feel happy at all after that. The mood was sombre and everyone looked kinda zonked. Then yadayada and we went off to shower before gathering back for movie screening. And we had to get scolded by this teacher who kinda spoiled everything for us. 10 minutes into the movie, Charlotte, Roy, Sylvia, Jonathan, Brandon and I went to sit outside because we didn't want to watch Sister Act 2 (think Whoopi Goldberg circa 1993 in super tight spandex suits and ginormous hair)

The bunch of us hung out playing Truth or Truth (it's Truth or Dare, except you don't get to choose what you wanna do lah), and we had to relocate 3 times just to get away from annoying people who clung onto us like... like... velcro! It was so funny cos we were running around school and it was damn comical when the lot of us had to run across the assembly plaza to hide and not be seen.

Then Saturday we played games and we had this huge water bomb fight. Picture crazy choir people running all over the assembly plaza hurling water bombs endlessly. It was as if the water bombs couldn't run out at all. And I ended up getting hit so many times I was soaked after everything. Then after that it was shower time and then choir practice with Mr Yong. I was half asleep while singing, and he ended early cos he knew there was nothing he could get out of us.

I cabbed back with this new girl I only got to know IN the cab because everyone else who wanted to cab back lived in Tanah Merah and there wasn't space left for the both of us. :/ And then I napped for 4 solid hours and then trained down to Wisma to meet with Raj and Ashley for our Sea Acts meeting. We're meeting later today again to work on our first proposal.

Haha, I just realised I haven't said why I've been so happy. I shan't say it here, and for those choir chums and old friends who actually know, don't tell ah! Haha.

Homework is finally starting to come in. Literature poem essay, reading of Othello Act 1, More's Utopia and Plato's Republic, edition of my PI and some Geog essays which I don't feel like looking at. And we've got Geog and Maths tests next week!

Till then!
She calls me Mr Smiley and tonnes of other names,
I'll call her my girl for the time being.
