Hello hello school was so boring today I felt so much like running away from it. I don't know why but today I didn't feel like mixing around and being my usual crazy self with the rest of my classmates. Maybe I am missing all the old faces, and that it's so strange that I'm trying to get used to all these new faces? I stoned through everything and during Compass I just blasted Death Cab in my ears and did my own thing. My mood got lifted quite a bit during pe though, somehow. I think Mr Foo is a really cool pe teacher and I'm glad we got him cos he's always such a respectable person, unlike some other teacher. Oh yeah and he made us count our heart rates after running and mine's at an unhealthy level :/

Anyway, I arranged to meet Karen to head to Ikea after school so that I could have something to look forward to whenever I had nothing to do except stone. And so I thought it was a short walk, judging from the route my mum takes to school whenever she drives me to school in the mornings, but it actually took about 15 minutes to walk.. and Karen and I took the long way out and we were sweating like pigs by the time we got there. I think we only spent 15 minutes max inside Ikea because I was rushing for time. We went to grab a red dustbin for Karen and then two hotdogs for me and an ice-cream for Karen. And then we jumped into a cab and headed home.

I was rushing because I only had one hour to go home bathe change and then head out again to meet mum at The Cathay. She had tickets for an exclusive preview of The Good Shepherd, this movie that won't be released in Singapore in the end due to strict movie regulations. So I guess I am really lucky to be able to watch it. It was draggy, with tonnes of dialogue, and not the kinda movie that I will go and watch, but I thought it was good, the twists and turns and the lies and deception all played out nicely.

After the movie, mum and I did some shopping and I tell you I cannot stand my mother because she bought two pairs of brazilian praia (sp?) heels from num just like that. Two pairs of the same thing, but in different colours. Haha but I don't blame her lah cos I got a tee also (: Some really bimbotic tee with bimbotic words. Can't stand the bimbocity but it's really funny!

Okay so today was a not-bad day afterall. I love night outs with my mum!
