I was back in school for the Leaders Seminar thing that the Council had organised. They invited us back for dinner, so I happily went.
It feels damn weird to step back into school as a graduate, an alumni now. For one, Mr Bernard speaks to you in an entirely different manner. He has removed that steely, poker face facade and has become an even more endearing person than he already is. I like the way he jokes to you, with that kinda enthusiasm that you rarely see.
Dinner was fine, as usual, hungry Hector and me had second helpings. I swear the both of us need to check where our food goes after ingestion. Perhaps, diffusion into the air? I really enjoyed the company of the rest of the friends from my batch.. like I can see that I, for one, can still relate to them and joke around as before.
The other seniors were around too, the older seniors. Hahahaha, we're part of them now, so we're gonna turn ancient really soon!
After dinner and the one and only dance performance by the juniors (which was encored much to Mr Bernard's dismay), we headed to Macs to hang out for a bit and have Georgiana's ice-cream treat before I headed home.
Sigh. I think I'm gonna miss working with them.
