Four and a half precious hours of Christmas Eve was spent on board the aeroplane, heading back to a rainy Singapore after watching
The Illusionist and getting a really bad migraine while we descended. I got home and showered before heading out in the rain again to head to town.

And that's the
Ikea face for you. I still don't know why we call it that.
Ice-cream with the Santa babies at this place called
24 Hours at Cineleisure on Christmas Eve. We managed to get past the
groping perverts maddening crowds (and the infamous foam from the spray cans) all the way from Wisma to Cineleisure to settle down for some desserts. And then we headed back out to the Groping Session to experience the countdown on Orchard Road, obviously wary that we were just making ourselves easy targets for those with foam sprays in their hands. We were spared though, call ourselves
smart lucky.
We managed to secure a good spot outside Paragon, under some signs which acted as shelter, with some aunties and uncles who looked like they didn't exactly want to participate in the snow storm which raged like, 2 metres away from our safety zone.

See, it was that risky from our little vantage point, and snow wars were happening both in the front and at the back of the spot where we huddled together. We relied on a good deal of leaning backward at some point and it was kinda funny actually. And then there was this smart auntie who came armed with her own umbrella, lol.
After that it was home on a bus. I was still wondering why the hell we wanted to head down to Orchard Road in the first place.. but I had a fun night with the rest of the Santa babies! :)
