We were out at Ivins, the Peranakan restaurant over at Bukit Timah just now, celebrating my maternal grandparents' birthdays. Yeah, their birthdays are really close to each other's. And I gave por por a hug today! Like, I've not done that since I was under her care, and that was when I was still in kindergaten. I practically lived with my maternal grandparents since the day I was born till I was about primary three? Those were the good old childhood days man.. when I used to run around the old Jalan Bukit Merah, and I knew everyone there. Like the auntie who sold my favourite char siew rice, and the old lady who opened the aquarium, the shopkeepers at the provision shops and the neighbourhood's heartlanders. Ahhh, nostalgia. (:
