I forgot to mention that I also swam on Sunday morning and then on Monday morning too. This makes it three consecutive days of swimming in the sun. I was already sunburnt by then and my shoulders and back were really scorching hot and making me feel so much pain.
Noone was free on Monday, so I didn't have any plans at all. I thought I'd just stay at home and let the day rot away, but I suddenly remembered that a certain Wan Ting was free and available to go out. I called her up and we agreed to meet up. Yeah, and we went to Vivo, like again for me, 'cos she hasn't been there yet. We walked the entire place and she was looking out for her prom dress. I hadn't found my prom dress yet. :/
After walking around with Wan Ting, I had to go meet Hidayah for the concert we were going to attend that night. I met her at Orchard in the evening, and she had just rebonded her hair that afternoon! And boy did she look better than I expected! She looks younger now, less auntie, and more modern and fresh. I like her new look too.
Anyways we met up really late 'cos her hair treatment took ages to finish. I delivered my specs to my uncle at Lucky Plaza and he told me that I could get it this weekend! Good! Then we raced down to Heeren 'cos we wanted to go get my green shirt for Tuesday, the Graduation Party. While I was trying on the shirt, Hidayah also found herself a green blouse! And it was only going at $12.90 lah. My shirt was only $29.90 and yes, the stuff we got were really good bargains man. We only spent like 10 minutes in Heeren and hailed a cab to get to ACS Barker for the concert. The driver dropped us at the back, and we had to find our way in the dark to the concert hall. And the school is so freaking huge lah, we were lucky we didn't get lost.
The concert was by an Indonesian choir, the Gracioso Sonora Choir. It's fronted by a really young conductor, only 27 years old, and the singers are all college and university students. They've got lotsa awards here and there and boy were they good! They sing like chamber music and stuff, and also do Indonesian folk and culture songs. We got treated to a really spectacular display of their really cute dances and beautiful costumes, and we enjoyed ourselves.
After that it was off to Newton for dinner. We were famished lah, and just sat down and ordered quite a lot of stuff to share. We had satays, stingray, and a beef with rice thing. And then, home sweet home. It was a great day I had.
