Last Friday

I eventually awoke from my 6:30 am sleep on Friday. Because some bloody noisy people upstairs decided to drill lil holes in their walls or something. So frustratingly noisy! We'd intended to meet up again on Friday to actually go see Vivocity. The girls met earlier, 'cos they like wanted to go and try their prom dresses without us guys so they didn't have to bear with our erm, comments and critiques. As what Taariq had concluded, I say It's not like your fats will go away you know.

But anyhow, I met a seriously-sexed-up-bedroom-voice-siren, also known as the Edwin who is still in bed and on the phone with you. I swear he sounded so orgasmic (not organic, lol) and so utterly raunchy, I even thought he was fooling around with me! And also met up with Taariq. We headed to meet Karen, Raihanah and Prasanna and boy, did I mention that Raihanah looked like a young expectant mother? By the way, I think "young mother" is such an ironic term to use on Raihanah. But it clicks, because she's neither and yet she looks like one. Hahahhahah! (she's so going to get me for this)

Vivo was huge, like really huge. We didn't know where to start, and we did something so remarkable that day. You'd never guess it! We went to Ben and Jerry's, the ice-cream parlour, and we ordered the Vermonster. 88 bucks of ice-cream goodness, complete with too generous helpings of fudge, walnuts and a million cookies inside. Ah, I'm craving it now, and my mouth is watering just by the thought of it. Anyways, there were only 6 of us, and by like a really short lapse of time, the Vermonster was polished clean. Here are the pictures to prove our amazing feat!

Well, it got ugly, yes. And the fat gluttons all emerged. We were practically stuffing our face with ice-cream. And then, yes, the expected happened. We started to fight for the ice-cream. We were so sick of gathering round that huge tub, so some people started to pull and yank the tub closer to them so they could get a better erm, chance at eating more. We started a tug-o-war and it got really ugly. Hahahahaha. And we even tried this system. Lol, to take turns to have a scoop (the spoons were extremely small for our huge buccal cavities) Obviously, it didn't work out and we threw the idea into the sea. It was taking far too long, and Karen had decided to take things into her own hands and like, scoop an entire gigantic scoop for herself. It didn't work, unfortunately. And then it started to empty out... and the 14 bucks we spent each was somewhere in our stomachs already. It was so good that we took straws and started slurping up the sludge-like remnants that was bubbling at the bottom of the tub (melted ice-cream, a selection of 6 different saliva-types and all) Karen like blew bubbles into it (gross lah!) and she also started to poke holes in the banana slices. It was so hilarious, poking up the banana and then sucking up that lil block of banana with your straw. The bananas were really sweet (:

After that, we walked around some more and we also went up to the MV Doulos ship thing. It was boring, and worst still, Karen had dropped her phone somewhere on the ship. We did try to look for it like a million times over, but to no avail lah. Oh and we sat by the sea and played The Name Game. This game involved a good deal of screaming away and getting so excited. IT was so enjoyable. Ah, I've got some pics too. Karen was apparently trying to act all spooky and we took a picture with her (completely oblivious) behind us.

I think that last shot really reminds me of some Top Model photoshoot. It's got this uncanny resemblance to the Alter ego shoot, but also a little similar to the Model stereotypes one. Hm!

So that was the day we finally stepped into Vivo and got a good look around. I think that the place is appealing, and it's got lotsa new stuff that we've not seen before, so thumbs up! Karen and I went for our Wad Dan Hor Fun after that at Simei to satisfy our hunger pangs, and home thereafter. I had to run after the bus after her.. and ended up having chest aches and all. Gah. It was a tiring but fun day for me lah.

Yay (:
