Chem Practical Exam

I felt totally screwed today at the Chemistry Practical Exam. I mean, it wasn't so much of my inability of answering any of the questions or carrying out any of the steps, but I got off with an extremely bad start. The first burette given to me was loose at the knob and so I asked for a change. The second burette was so tight and it was leaky. By the time I received the third one, more than 5 precious minutes flew by, and purple puddles were on the floor already.

Well, it pretty much made so feel damn discouraged for the rest of the practical exam. I was pretty confident at first, because I usually don't have many problems with this paper, and yet it just brought the entire esteem level down. But nevermind, it was easier than I thought it'd be. I just hope that all will be well, and I don't screw up bad just because of one or two marks.

After the exam, we went to watch a movie. I know this is crazy, like going for a movie 5 days before the O levels start. But we really wanted to, and thought this was the best time. We caught The Prestige, and I tell you, you better watch it before its not showing anymore. The show is so clever that you'd be fooled. Just watch it, it's worth the 7 bucks man. And I shall be nice and not tell you what happened. Anyway, too many things happened lah.

Gosh. I didn't even realise that Halloween was today. I mean, I had it in mind for the past few days, but it didn't strike me at all for the entire day that it was Halloween! I only realised, at like 8:30pm?

It sucks 'cos every Halloween you are tied down by commitments and stuff. I can still remember the Hallween Party I attended when I was still in primary school in this mansion. It was my mum's boss's place, and I dressed up as a ninja! My cousin was a fairy, mum was a witch, and dad wore a skeleton face mask. It was such a blast! We did the entire Trick or Treat thing, walking around the neighbourhood and collecting like all sorts of sweets and chocolates in these pumpkin baskets. And they also had this Ghost Trail around their huge mansion, in which the kids would wear huge clown jester hats that would cover their faces, and the bigger kids would lead a small group through the trail, and along the way, the "ghosts and monsters" would be the adults!

You couldn't see during the walk, and thats what makes it freaky. And they sprayed "blood" on you. And they sent chills down your spine by walking so slowly and letting you hear all the sounds of the night. It was really enjoyable.

So tomorrow its back to serious intensive mugging. We're heading to the study lounge. Please cross your fingers for us.
