Firstly, I've got aching limbs due to yesterday's netball game during pe. Everytime I stand up and sit down, it just hurts here and there. My ass has been planted on my seat for almost the entire day and it aches like hell. And also 'cos its Thursday, like absolutely the worst day of the entire week. Timetable's like triple physics lesson and the day ends with a maths and chem. And to make it even better, we had physics lesson (again!) right after school, followed by the killer bio test. This time, the stakes were higher - its total marks is 145. You'd just die while doing it. Then die a few times more again. Urgh. I'd have to go thru that ordeal next Monday. The 3rd, and hopefully last, killer test.
Thursdays just suck lah, maybe because Fridays are the sexay-est days during the weeks. Friday's just a day to enjoy and prep yourself for the great weekend. But really, how much can we enjoy ourselves right now? It's sad to say, and I've been trying to avoid this unfortunate reality, that prelims are in a months time! Actually, less than that.
I am so unprepared and I've been wondering 'bout the first three months thingy that your prelims will determine for you. What if... what if... Arggghh.
I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that I'd be disciplined enough to complete my work and still have time relegated for intensive studying during the National Day break. I'm really banking in on that week to just chiong everything man.
Oh and I've just watched Singapore Idol. I think Singapore is really dumb, like they've got no ears to bloody hell hear the talents in the show. Or something. How can it be that the best singers in the competition, technically, can be left in the bottom 4? How? I think its like people do not vote for those who are good, just 'cos they think others will vote 'em in anyways! Its true, and its a sad fact.. that week after week.. the real singers are going home. I hope its not a vicious cycle that'd repeat man. Sigh. And can you believe it, I'm gonna go watch Idol live next Tuesday, and I'm really hoping it doesn't become a three-time-in-a-row disappointment man.
I still can't get over the fact that Jasmine Tye sang a Spice Girls' number and got through in the top group, despite obviously bad reviews from all four judges. She's been given too many chances and yet she hasn't redeemed herself yet!
Singapore, open up your ears! Hear the real talent!
