I was at humanities night study in school last night when this rat decided to make an appearance and irk us all. I was seated at the tables and Ms Yew was sitting on this wooden bench, when suddenly I saw the rat coming up from behind her. It ran in between her legs, and by that time, Karen and Ms Yew were already on their feet and screaming in fright. The confused rat skidded to a halt, literally, and decided to make a u-turn back into the bushes. I saw it approaching her legs and it was such a close shave, lucky it didn't brush against her! It was so damn big I tell you. And disgusting. All of us started to feel itchy and we heightened our senses to be more wary of our surroundings in case the rat came out again!
While all this happened, I was just sitting there, appearing calm and collected although I was the one who first saw the rat coming up from behind us. And not to mention, I have a huge fear of rats, I don't know why. They're just gross and terrible and really make me cringe man.
I hope that big fat oogly fella doesn't appear anymore!
