Finally, we concluded our game after like 2 days at it. It was a really close game, and tomorrow we'd be embarking on Round 2 with Hafeez as our 4th player. Bigger grid, more ships, I can't wait!
Speaking 'bout ships, we're watching Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest this Friday! I can't wait too, because I feel the cast are cool, but I was kinda put off by that monster-face thingy I saw on the trailer. Would it be too fake? I felt that the first Pirates was really realistic and natural though...

Haha! Just some fooling around last Saturday over at Marina! We were just discussing why the Esplanade resembles some bug-eyed thingamajig. Any significance? Taariq mentioned that it was initially supposed to be flat-domed. But the sunlight would come in right.... So they added the 'spikes', the reflective glass panes to keep out the sun... Esplanade is also dubbed 'the durian' by us imaginative souls, and why do I keep smelling durians in my house? The same thing happened again, but this time it was in the hall. I sit in the hall and some durian aroma would waft in through the windows ... must be those people downstairs I guess.
And I open the fridge and the entire fridge has a heavy durian smell. It turned out that Mum just bought like durian puffs. I had some, but I'm not a fan of durian anymore, I don't know why. I was such a durian fanatic when I was little. Now, whenever I smell it, it just makes me not want to eat it anymore... It's not overpowering or disgusting for me... It's just not as delicious anymore. Weird, uh?
Sigh. So its true that the durian season is here huh? Gosh I hope my parents don't drag me out for a durian feast. No please....
