Dunman had our annual Cross Country yesterday, which was Saturday. I went into it thinking that I'd waste my time there walking the entire stretchand giving up, but I don't know how and why I ended up running instead!
I thought that this time it wasn't as bad as when I took part in Sec 1, when everything was too overwhelming for me and it was really tough. This time, it was over really quick and I came in at position 78 for the upper sec boys. (As compared to position 100++ 3 years ago!) Not bad for someone like me okay!
Yeah and after that we hung around till everyone came back. There were many who chose to stroll though. Then they had prize presentation ceremony and I sat with Hidayah and Taariq, baking ourselves under the scorching sun.
After the event ended, Karen, Mel, Taariq and I went for lunch and Mel lost her phone. Sigh. Karen was just saying that its a curse 'cos she just lost her phone too. I think the next person to be jinxed is me.
I went home after that, having only enough time to bathe and change and head out again for tuition with Mel. Today was the first lesson with Mrs Fong's son, Yi Shuen. Mel and I can see that he's a really jolly person, like the happy-go-lucky kind, kinda like Mrs Fong herself. He was really friendly, so that was good.
I headed home after that and peng-ed on my bed. Slept 3 hours straight till 9pm and had dinner with Mum. The cross country fatigue was finally setting in for me and my body was aching all over.
Oh and I forgot to say, that I think the number '78' is like kinda coincidental for me. 'Cos my level position for Mids is 78, so yeah. It's 78 again for me. Haha.. Mister Edwin was just telling me that my lucky number should be '1' instead, so I'd be first in everything. Haha!
