Aye! We watched the second instalment of Pirates of the Caribbean on Friday after school. It was such a blast, and I was sitting between dear Prasanna and Karen, and we laughed till we were gonna die. Taariq, Hector, Wan Ting, Ain and Kenneth were with us. I'm sure they enjoyed themselves too! I think the movie is such a witty blend of comedy, horror, gore, mystery, romance and action! I felt that this one was better than the first one, 'cos the first one had the lame corny jokes in almost every scene that Johnny Depp was in, but in this one, even Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley join in the humour! This Dead Man's Chest also had a great share of super-hilarious moments. The slapstick and humour just kept coming and coming, I couldn't resist it man. Orlando Bloom was cool, Johnny Depp was cooler, Keira Knightley was the coolest! Somehow I think this 2nd instalment showed less of Johnny Depp and his dialogue was less, but loved his 4 pairs of painted eyes, yes, one on the eyelid to confuse you, and his necklace of severed toes! Ew!
Oh and the scenery they had were stunning. I don't mind watching the show again, but I guess I'd ask Mum to get it for me when she goes to Thailand next week. For those who haven't watched it, I won't spoil it for you, but I'm telling you, its worth it to stay on till the very end of the credits. I'm warning you, I'm sure you don't wanna miss out right.
Haha. I sense many people coming to kill me after this. Just stay, lah.
I still have this unsettling feeling after watching the movie! Its like I don't know whatever hell has happened to __ _ and I must wait till like May 2007 (or later) for the next release! Gah!
Anyways, this 2nd movie mentioned Singapore, this time making it even more obvious and pronounced, unlike the first movie, when Captain Jack Sparrow mumbled. Well, high chances that 3rd movie would actually show more of why they keep mentioning Singapore. I've done my research, and it tells me that the cool trio would be traversing to The Orient in the 3rd movie! Good stuff! I can't wait!
