SECRET RECIPE.

last day of school!
had choir prac. did sectionals all the way cos mr toh was not coming today..

i'm happy to say that bass sectionals went well. as in, we managed to have a good time in each other's company. we had a wonderful time laughing at zi jing and a certain someone. hahah. we were just goofing around and really teasing him! its really good cos i could see everyone smiling.. and that was one thing that told me that sectionals could work with these people after all. they just needed some enjoyment, some bonding, and some life...
going through the songs was fine too. i reflected and i realised, my approach is somewhat appropriate. i am serious when it comes to really needing to get the songs right. and besides that, i'm personable enough for them to approach me for anything. but one thing that i think they should work on.. being lethargic during sectionals. actually, there shouldn't be anyone to blame lah.. cos everybody just finished the exam week. prettay stressed up and all. so yeah, naturally the fatigue would set in and during prac they'd feel restless.

speaking to friends after prac, there were feedback that other sections were facing problems. as in, real problems that've been going on for quite awhile already since the new intake.. for bass, there's only one new member among the sec 1s. and yes, i must admit, it equals to less worry, less vomitting of blood, and bottomline: less stress.
sec 1s... are they that mischievous after all? as a sec 1, i seldom, maybe never at all, thought of how my seniors would percieve me. in fact, i was scared. choir was new to me and i wasn't used to that sort of lifestyle. but now, it seems like the juniors are getting more vicious. they are getting on some seniors' nerves i can tell, and i am thanking god its not me. sigh... it really makes me relieved when i know that my bass is not dysfunctional.. and if it was.. i would totally lose interest!

choir would end soon.. in another month's time for the sec 4s.. and its like really a short time left lah. but, thing is, why are people not cherishing these last few pracs before we actually become too busy to even think eventually? is it the workload? the stress? maybe we should think twice....

anyways, seniors who are trying too hard. i mean, as in, hard until you're not sparing a thought for yourself, i suggest you just take the backseat. consult the doctors, get a solution to our problems. don't let them continue! we wouldn't want any history to repeat themselves, do we?

c'mon. i'm sure all of us, young or old, wants dunman choir to rock on. right?
