last weds was the 3rd Leader's Investiture finally, the day had come.Wan Ting, Taariq and I got off class early. those 2 idiots were stuck in the general office since 8am. and i only joined them at like 11am. haha. well, we didn't go to class cos we were busy doing last minute arrangements. actually, thats not true lah! we sorta just sat outside the office on the comfy sofa and watched the world go by... we weren't exactly busy though. had to fold up the just-printed programme sheets and call the other schools who haven't confirmed their rsvp and stuff... yeah. and mr sim also gave us a milo treat in the canteen and chit-chatted with us. hahah. :) before we knew it, it was close to 4pm and the investiture was about to start! i passed my cam to some PA guy to help me take shots lah. but heck! the shots turned out blur. blur like shit. i'm still wondering if it was the guy of my cam... hmmmm... we made our entrance into the hall on the red carpet... and then we stood on stage for the dunman school song.. and after that we proceeded to sit down off stage.. we waited for our names to be called and then we'd go on stage and receive our cert and tie pin! finally! and then we had to take the oath of office together. and finally! a clear shot in my cam!
i just realised that we all had really different expressions. hmm. Jiayu on the far right looks stern as usual. and Sabby on the far left, was sleeping?!right.... and then we had the video montage which was done by tanest... and unfortunately it got kinda screwed halfway when the stupid PA system cocked up. arrrrgggh. the notebook lagged and the song went bad.. i didn't know what the hell happened lah.. but we got over that.. and then it was the excos performance. we did the stomp thing, if you know. we made music with lotsa kitchen cutlery and stuff ah. and then the second part of our performance was on to the pails we used as drums. we hit it with lightsticks.. and the entire hall was pitch black.. so the effect we created was damn cool. a few hitches here and there, but we managed to get through all that.. and our juniors performance was fantabulous! hahah.. i guess they put in lotsa effort too... for their dance. and they like came up with the steps entirely... not bad though! no pictures to show man.. sorry.. i think my camera man died during that period..we headed downstairs afterwards for the reception. it was elsie's kitchen again, so all the food looked familiar. haha. they used elsie's kitchen for catering last 2 years.. when i was invested lah. these fruit tarts here are so good.. they can even match up to the peach tarts sold at delifrance!!!
and the cake! omg.. the design is so bad... so suggestive.. and not even nice in any way! sigh... but surprisingly, it tasted not bad! redemption!

thanks to Mum who was there to help me take some clear pictures. haha. remember Ian from the alumni asking when mum came forward to take the photo. he went, "wah, this one professional one ah?" hahah. damn funny. and i was like, "thats my Mum lah!"
and Cheyenne was there too :) think she had a great time!
after all the guests left, the excos sorta went mad laughing. we were laughing at some hwa chong guy... hrrrmm. ok lah, i shan't say. cos its real mean. anyways, Wan Ting's a bird!
mentee Ke Hua and grand-mentee Moses. ahhh. my desendents. haha. i feel freakin old right now alright. i just realised! 4 generations since my mentor are all from choir! the family line goes like this.. Elroy - Andre - Ke Hua - Moses and no Moses... you don't look fat at all!
